Anna Busenburg, RDN, CSP, CD, CLC

I am a Registered Dietitian in Cincinnati, OH with 15 years nutrition experience. I have been in clinical nutrition, specifically pediatrics for the majority of my career. I loved working in the neonatal intesive care unit at three different hospitals over 14 years. Working to educate families on their child’s development and growth was something I deeply enjoyed. Babies are amazing and they grow and change so fast. Being part of their nutrition care journey during such a pivotal time was such an amazing honor.

I have recently transitioned to a new role in Nutrition Communications working for the American Dairy Association Mideast. This opportunity gave me a change to pivot my nutrition skills from direct patient care to provide educational guidance to health professionals and consumers. I have always enjoyed communications work and sharing nutrition education to the public. This role allowed to push and grow my career path in a new and exciting way.

I also have specialty training as a Certified Specialist in Pediatrics (CSP), a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), and I’ve completed the certification course in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management.

I am an active volunteer with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on a local and national level. I am part of lots of groups and I enjoy giving back to profession that has given me so much.

In my free time, I love reading, running and going on road trips with my family. I have an amazing and supportive spouse, three amazing kids and the cutest chihuahua.
